GENERAL INFORMATION

Purpose of Weekday School
The primary purpose of the Weekday School program at Crosby United Methodist Church is to provide a Christian environment where children ages two to five years old to learn to relate to others with love and concern. Each child is guided to achieve their own growth potential in all areas - social, physical, spiritual and intellectual. Qualified teachers encourage learning through active participation in many fun, age-appropriate and developmentally-appropriate experiences.

Basic Goals of Weekday School
The staff of Weekday School will strive to meet the following goals for each child:
1.    Encourage positive social interaction with other children.
2.    Help develop a positive self-image.
3.    Provide a variety of age-appropriate and developmentally-appropriate learning experiences.
4.    Foster a sense of independence and accomplishment.
5.    Stimulate the desire to learn.
6.    Promote and develop a Christian spirit in the daily lives of each child.

Enrollment Eligibility
The Crosby United Methodist Weekday School is open to all children who are at least two years old before September 1 of the current year through those who are five years old and have not yet started Kindergarten. Children who will be three years old between September 1 and December 31 of the current year may be accepted at the Director’s discretion if space is available. All children must be COMPLETELY potty trained except those in the two-year old class. No exceptions.

Hours of Operation
Option 1:   Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday    (Not available for 2 year olds)   9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Option 2:   Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday    (Not available for 2 year olds)   9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Option 3: Monday and Wednesday ONLY     (Only available for 2 year olds) 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Fee Schedule
Registration Fee (Due at enrollment, non-refundable)            All options           $140.00
       This amount includes registration and all supplies

Monthly Tuition (One month due at enrollment for May 2011)
                            Option 1:           $145.00/month                  ($1215 annually)
                            Option 2:           $195.00/month               ($1665 annually)

                            Option 3:           $160.00/month                  ($1350 annually)


Under all options, tuition is calculated on an annual amount that is divided into 9 equal payments.   One month’s tuition (for May 2012) is due along with the registration fee. The remaining payments are due in September through April in accordance with the payment policy below. The number of days we are in school each month will vary due to the number of weeks in the month, holidays, etc.

The Registration Fee is non-refundable and the Tuition pre-payment is refundable only if your child is withdrawn prior to July 1.

In addition, a 15% discount will be given for siblings on tuition only.

Payment Policy
Tuition is due on the first school day of each month from September through April. Late fees of $5.00 will be assessed on the 5th of each month with an additional $1.00 per day after that. Students will not be allowed to attend school if payment becomes more than 30 days past due.

School Calendar
Weekday School will follow Crosby ISD school calendar for holidays and breaks.   We will begin school in September, after Labor Day. You will be sent a letter in August with information about our orientation and exact starting date.
